My trip to Egypt was so much greater than anticipated. Made so by this wonderful tour group that has so much love for their country and its heritage and insight into the story behind the story. Their enthusiasm and personal insights added to the experience and their ability to add to our spiritual experience could not have been better. We thank you Joy for spreading your joy and light to us.

I had the most wonderful adventure of my life in Egypt with Fadel and our small group. Our trip ended up being scheduled after President Trump started bombing Iran. As a result, 3 of the 4 I was to travel with postponed. I relied on Fadel who told me that Egypt would be safe and the last time a similar incident occurred, his group ended up having the best time due to smaller crowds and all the Egyptian vendors paying more attention to the visitors. He was absolutely right on the money.
Fadel is a super knowledgeable Egyptologist having studied in Cairo, and having deep experience in taking folks to Egypt. Moreover, he is a kind and super hard working guide, who does everything daily to make your visit wonderful. He has people who greet you at the airport and help you get on your flight back home. He has drivers and contacts at every stage of the trip. Most importantly, he works over time daily to be with you at meals and every site. Having your tour leader share meals, sit in vans going from one location to another, and facilitating your every minute is super important in a country where everything is in Arabic. Fadel also knows more about each site than Wikipedia and it can be overwhelming, but plenty of time is left for you to soak it all in.
I at one point complained about one temple in Kom Ombo being too crowded. The next day he arranged a visit to a temple in Esna where we were the only group visiting the site. The temple at Esna was gorgeous.
Yes, you will get to see all the big sites, GEM, the pyramids, Tut's tomb and the Luxor temples. But the more important part of the trip was him explaining each and every site with a Ph.D. knowledge of each place. But he is not a dry academic. Very personable, kind and caring of your feelings each day of the tour. IOW, he works his butt off to make sure you get full value and fun during the tour. You will know more about 5000 years of Egyptian history and have more fun with him and your group than any other tour you have been on in your life.
I plan to come back and do the Aswan trip with him and bring my family with me, whether or not we are still at war with Iran.

We are still digesting the wonderful experience and are enormously grateful for your inviting us along. I had to smile since we have been up since 5 am since it’s moving day. We will make sure our movers respect everyone’s access today. Cheers

Our 13-day excursion in Egypt with Fadel and his team was life-changing! I am not the same person I was before going on this trip.
